See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Tumblr Tuesday

Wait, it’s already been a week since we did this? Impossible! It feels like it was just yesterday that I partook in all my regular Tuesday traditions: Regretting all those cheap tacos from Taco Tuesday, undergoing a mixture of deep reflection and soreness from Trampoline Tuesday, and experiencing joy after sharing some of my favorite new Tumblrs from Tumblr Tuesday.

Are you sitting comfortably? Then let’s begin.

Best of Wikipedia
Let’s face it: Wikipedia is awesome. With over 10-zillion articles on everything from Paula Abdul to Zip Codes, it’s clearly the place to start your research on any topic. But it’s so much more than merely a reference tool. Wikipedia offers some of the best reading on the internet, and the Best of Wikipedia Tumblr blog brings you the best of the best.

WebKitBits
WKB is a beautifully designed Tumblr blog all about the insides and outsides of WebKit, the browser engine that powers Safari, Chrome, iPhone, Palm Pre, and Android. If you do any work on the web, or if you’re passionate about the internet, or if you’re just curious about the state of the art of web browsers and standards, you should definitely check this out.

Ideas Are Awesome
This site is like having an IV that drips pure inspiration directly into your veins. It’s all about marketing, design, and technology as they relate to web culture. PROTIP: Next time you’re stuck on a creative project, or any kind of project for that matter, head over here and spend a few minutes browsing. Problem solved.

Tuneage
Everyone deserves good music, says Tuneage. I would disagree, and alternatively propose that everyone deserves good music except for the jackass next door who blasts Coldplay at 4:00 am every morning. But perhaps that’s harsh. Indeed, some people just need Tuneage in their life, and shouldn’t be judged until they’ve had that opportunity. Now there’s no excuse.

Comically Vintage
It’s all about comics here. Old ones. Recovered, surely, from a lost civilization’s ancient burial ground, CV features tons of scans of some of the most bizarre, beautiful and hilarious (and unintentionally hilarious) vintage comic books ever discovered by paleocomicologists. Also, I need to work the following words into daily conversation more often: KAPOW! BRAM! WHACK! PHOOMPH!

Now it’s your turn. What are some other Tumblr blogs that you’d recommend to your friends and loved ones?
