Location New York, NYJulie Klausner is an author, performer, and podcaster. Her first book, I Don’t Care About Your Band: What I Learned from Indie Rockers, Trust Funders, Pornographers, Felons, Faux-Sensitive Hipsters, and Other Guys I’ve Dated, is being developed into a TV show for HBO by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell’s production company. Today, she’s hard at work on a young adult novel about an all-girls arts camp called Muses and hosts How Was Your Week, a comedy podcast which has featured guests like Joan Rivers, Patton Oswalt, and Rachel Dratch. Julie’s written for Best Week Ever, The New York Times, McSweeney’s, among many others.
