Looking for some new Tumblrs to follow? Bored on this Tuesday afternoon? We’ve got the perfect thing to help with both: Tumblr Tuesday. Every Tuesday, we’ll feature some Tumblrs that have recently caught our attention — and we encourage you to join in.
Food porn
Pretty Foods features some of the most beautiful food you’ll see today. Almost too pretty to eat. I said almost.
Call child services
I Hate My Parents documents unfortunate children placed in embarrassing situations by their well-intentioned parents. Revenge will be theirs.
Picture show
Movies In Frames is great for the lover of film and cinematography. One movie, depicted in four frames. You’ll watch these films just a little more closely next time.
Fact faction
Fuck Yeah Facts is a compendium of interesting, funny, and improbable facts. FYF has thankfully chosen to omit the boring, trite, and obvious facts.
Liking Earth
Travel Highlights (by the fine people at PlanetEye) is filled with photos and travel stories from all over the world, and they’re doing a fantastic job finding and reblogging awesome content from within the Tumblr community.
Who do you nominate for Tumblr Tuesday next week?
Today is your last chance to submit a band to perform at Reblog This Concert! We’ll be announcing the lineup next week.
- The Dashboard arrow key shortcuts are now disabled when endless scrolling is enabled.
- Endless scrolling no longer interrupts Audio or Video playback!
- The J and K (next post / previous post) shortcut now works properly w/o endless scrolling.
- Automatic post recovery was occasionally throwing false positives. That should be fixed.
As always, please let us know if you see anything acting funny!
By our own brilliant Peter Vidani.
Every now and again we find some Tumblr fan art that’s too cool not to share. We’ve been cataloging them on weheart.tumblr.com and, in honor of the new Submission feature, are taking your submissions!
Matthew Buchanan just posted this cool hack for theme designers.
Very cool Slate article on single-topic blogs (This is why you’re fat, Look at this fucking hipster, etc.)
I’ve always dug community-driven curated blogs like this (probably starting with Cute Overload back when the internet was invented). We’ll be launching some new community blogging tools this week that I’m really excited about.
